This pattern makes a wonderful wall hanging 28" x 28". Notice the elegant pleated borders and the mitered corners.

Well, folks, both the mitered corners and the pleated borders are easy to make using my techniques in the pattern.

Detail of the pleated border--with this pattern, any experience crafter can make this beautiful quilt!

Whoops! My best citrus memory is from childhood. I refused to eat my orange, and my Mother told me that there were starving children in Europe (this was just after the second World War) and I replied, "Let's wrap it up and mail it to them!"

not necessarily a good memory... but when I was pregnant we stopped at a fruit stand when traveling. We got about 100 miles down the road and realized my husband's wallet was missing. After driving back to the fruit stand, cancelling everything, we finally found it in a weird spot in our car a few days later...

My grandparents always had citrus-flavored sodas growing up and I always got to get one when we went to visit (we never kept any sodas in our house, so this was a very special treat). amy.forkner (at) gmail (dot) com

My great-grandmother sending us a box of Florida grapefruit every year for Christmas. I still love grapefruit, but what I find in the stores (especially the bargain grocery stores) just isn't as good.

My mom had this lemonade jug when I was little. It had a lime, an orange and a lemon painted on it. I remember loving that jug because she would only bring it out in summer. The paint was slightly worn out, but I just loved that lemonade jug. :D

My favorite memory is of going to see Santa at Christmas. Back in the 50's it wasn't easy to get oranges in the middle of winter in the middle of the U.S.but when we went to see Santa we received a bag full of candy and an orange. I looked forward to the orange more than the candy.
